    Lead Minister

    jbundy@bentonvillechurch.com

The Bentonville congregation played a crucial role in my life when God used an (unplanned) internship here in the summer of 2004 to call me to full time ministry. Between 2006 and 2016 I served in youth, young adult, and associate ministry roles. In January of 2017 our leadership intentionally reorganized and launched a "team ministry" model to prioritize team teaching, planning, and communication. My lovely wife, Jenna, and I have been married since 2013.

I started working with the Bentonville Church of Christ in 2000 after serving as a missionary in Toluca, Mexico for the previous ten years.  I am the minister over outreach and work with our "Recovery for Life" ministry.  Its primary mission is to provide spiritual support for people in recovery from life's hurts, habits, and hang-ups.  I also work with ministry leaders in the "Guest Services" ministry which oversees the greeting and guest central areas.  I also enjoy serving on the "Missions Committee" and as the liaison with the Mexico mission works we support.  I can be reached at 479-721-5047.

  • Dedra Hunter

    Children's Minister

    dHunter@bentonvillechurch.com

Steve and I have been married for 30 years, and have raised our three children in Northwest Arkansas since 1993. Our oldest son, Blake, unexpectedly passed away in January of 2016. Kalyn, who is soon to be married, recently graduated from Harding University and is working at Highlands Oncology. Chase is a freshman at the University of Oklahoma, majoring in Finance.

I love how our God led me on the journey to becoming the Children's Minister through my experiences teaching children and raising our own. (Jer. 20:11) Children have been a big part of our family's life, so this has been a perfect fit, and we're so excited to be here.  Romans 8:37-39

    youth and family minister

I am blessed to be married to Marcie as we have the privilege of raising 4 boys together! While there is a mighty river of testosterone at our house, we desire to be a river of life to the community of Bentonville, AR. I love the opportunity to speak life to teenagers and their families as we journey with Jesus Christ together. My prayer is that teens will continue to discover the depths of their identity in Christ as New Creations, and how to overflow with joy from the Spirit to those around them for His glory. We pray the teens come to know a loving Father through the person of Jesus, as they find their purpose in the body of Christ. Ephesians 3:20-21!

  • Sierra sanders

    Associate youth minister

    ssanders@bentonvillechurch.com

I'm so excited to be a part of the Bentonville Church of Christ family! Growing up, my youth group and my youth leaders had a huge impact on my life. All of my friends were part of that group, and together we made memories that are some of my favorites. My relationship with God and my faith grew and solidified during that time too. My female youth minister made such a difference in my life that I felt motivated to pursue a career in youth ministry too. I graduated from Harding University with a Bible and Family Ministry degree in May of 2016.

Working with teens is something i have done for the last several years, and I feel passionate about fulfilling God's calling to continue that work. I love building relationships with teens, teaching them about God, and encouraging them as they learn and grow. I enjoy drinking coffee, doing outdoor activities, and spending time with teens and adults alike. I can't wait to see how God will use me at Bentonville and what He has in store for the BYG. (Hebrews 12:1-2)

    Family Minister

    gziegler@bentonvillechurch.com

My wife, Lisa, and I moved to this area and I joined the church staff in January of 2014.  We have two kids, both married, and four grandkids.  Our lives are never dull!  My job title is “Family Minister”.  My ministry emphasis is to help equip parents and those with the responsibility of raising children (particularly children ages birth-6th grade) to raise them in the “training and instruction of the Lord” (Eph 6:4; Deut 6:1-9).  Various resources are aimed in this direction, including our HomePointe Center, built to provide “best" resources to address life issues, regardless of the stage of life in which we find ourselves.  My prayer and hope is that God will be lifted up and families strengthened through His amazing grace.  I can be reached at 479-250-5715.
