Our Mission is to Make and Mature Disciples of Jesus Christ and Share His Love Throughout our Community and Beyond!
God is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe.
God has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are one God. God created all things, is ruler of all things, and has supremacy over all things.

Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus Christ is God incarnate. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people through His death on the cross. Jesus rose from the dead, demonstrating His power over sin and death, and ascended to the Father. Jesus will return again to receive those who through His grace are saved.

The Holy Spirit lives in each Christian.
The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus. The Holy Spirit provides Christians with power for living, knowledge of spiritual truth, help in times of need and guidance in doing what is right. He gives each believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. As Christians, we are thankful to have the Holy Spirit living in us.

The Bible is God's Word.
The Bible was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.

People are Loved and Valued by God.
People are made in the image of God, to be like Him in character. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us have been disobedient toward God. Such disobedience is called "sin." Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life. But, God "so loved the world that He sent His" one and only Son as the atoning sacrifice for sin.

People will be judged by God.
People were created for eternal existence. We are either separated from God by sin or united with Him through forgiveness and salvation. To be separated from God is hell, eternal destruction. To be in union with God is heaven, eternal life. Heaven and hell are real places. God will judge us, and our thoughts, words and deeds will determine our fate.

- Revelation 20:11-15

Salvation is God's free Gift.
Sin's penalty is death. We can never redress our sin by self-improvement or good works, but God offers us a Way of salvation - grace through Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus, the chief cornerstone, is required for acceptance of God's redemptive plan for mankind. Jesus commanded all disciples to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit later directed through Peter that baptism was the proper response to God for a heart that is convicted. When we tum from our self-ruled life to Jesus through faith, repentance, confession, and baptism, we are in a saved relationship with God. We begin a new life necessarily focused on obedience to God.

The Church exists to Fulfill God's mission.
The Church includes all Christians throughout the world and exists to further Christ's redemptive mission in the world. The Bible describes the Church as Jesus's "bride," representing the reciprocal love and commitment between Jesus and the Church. It is also described as Jesus's "body," representing the mutual mission of Jesus and the Church. Jesus is the "head" of the Church. God has delegated all authority over heaven and earth to Jesus and provided the Holy Spirit to help us carry out His mission. Christians are called out to use their gifts to represent Jesus and His love in the world.

Obeying the commands of God.
God gave Moses Ten Commandments to teach His people how to live. Jesus provided the spiritual underpinnings of those commands when He said: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Jesus recognized and confirmed that God's Ten Commandments establish the substantive basis for classifying specific behavior as sin. Jesus provides several lists of sinful actions that include: sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance, fraud, dishonesty, folly, and failing to honor one's father and mother, among others. Jesus confirms God's expectations for humanity and calls on Christians to live their lives by God's standard. Jesus equates lust with adultery and hate with murder, and He calls on Christians to avoid sin, not just because of sin's consequences, but because we love God with all our heart, soul and mind, and we love our neighbors as ourselves. If we love God, we will keep His commandments.
