Benevolence & compassion are themes woven throughout Scripture. James encourages us to visit orphans & widows in their distress (1:27). Paul instructs us to do good to all people while we have opportunity (Gal 6:10), and the writer of Hebrews reminds us to show hospitality to strangers (13:2). As we emulate the nature of God, it is ingrained in us as Christians to show kindness, perform acts of charity and do good to others. The Benevolence Ministry has been established by our Shepherds to help fellow members & individuals within our community. This ministry is comprised of a small number of members who treat requests for assistance with the utmost confidentiality & review ways our congregation can offer financial, spiritual, and / or physical assistance.
Please select the following options to learn how we can be of assistance. Note that all financial requests are received by one individual who works with a small team of volunteers to process your request. You can also contribute to our benevolence efforts by selecting "Giving" below.
