Welcome to the Home of the Bentonville Youth Group!
The Bentonville Youth Group (BYG) is absolutely on fire for Jesus! Led by ministers Nick Mauldin, Michael Santiago and Shelby Harriman, the BYG consists of two age divisions, with one serving Jr. High students in grades 7-8, and the other serving Sr. High students, grades 9-12. Collectively, this group has become an incredibly active, FUN, and young spiritual family focused on knowing and spreading the Gospel of Christ.

- Sunday at 9:25 a.m.
- Wednesday 6:30 p.m.
Connect and Free Wednesday Night BYG Meal
Connect is an after school program where teens can hang out and fellowship in our Youth Room, Wednesdays during the school year from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. We serve a free group dinner at 5:30 p.m. before starting Bible class at 6:30 p.m.

Helping Teens Find Themselves in Christ
Our desire is to disciple teens into a deeper knowledge of who they are in Jesus Christ and teach them to flow in the fruit of the spirit towards others for this glory. Before our teens graduate high school we want them to know these five essentials:
- The Bible is the word of God and is living truth inspired by the Holy Spirit, always pointing to Jesus.
- To know a good and loving father through the person of Jesus Christ.
- A deeper understanding of ur union with Christ as a new creation, a branch to the vine.
- How to honor and respect each other as servant-leaders through love and speaking life.
- The importance of renewing our mind with the good news, as we become aware of the lies of the enemy.

Meet the BYG Staff!
Michael Santiago is a Harding Graduate who recently moved here from Abilene, Texas where he spent the last six years serving his former congregation as their youth minister. He now serves as our Lead Youth Minister for High School BYG students in grades 9th-12th. He and his wife, Whitney have one beautiful little girl, Mia, and are expecting their second child this winter.
Michael focuses on one objective - ensuring teens know they're loved by Christ and find a home in His Kingdom. He is always happy to help your family and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Please email him with any needs regarding High School BYG and he'll respond as soon as possible.
Shelby Harriman is our beloved Associate Youth Minister. She works with High School BYG members in grades 9th-12th. She and her husband, Kevin, were married in 2024, and recently welcomed their first baby girl, beautiful baby Hazel. As an Arkansas native and graduate of the University of Arkansas, we're blessed by Shelby's experience navigating life as a teen while growing up in the region, and her passion for leading youth to Jesus, ensuring they know the love, mercy, grace, and the majesty of Christ.

Nick Mauldin is the minister of our Junior High BYG members in grades 7th and 8th. Nick is a life-long member of our church. He and his wife, Rachel, have both been servant leaders of our congregation for decades. They have two children, Grayson and Piper, who are both extremely active in our many church activities. Nick prays to lead, love, and support each student, to ensure they know they are loved by Christ, and the child of a King.
