Be the hands and feet of Jesus with us Saturday, December 12th, 2026!
Since 1999, Community Care Day (CCD) has had the privilege of serving more than 8,000 local families in need, including over 29,000 children. Through the generosity of our congregation, we provide food, coats, household essentials, and other much-needed items to help families during the holiday season. At the heart of CCD is a simple mission: to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Community Care Day is a wonderful opportunity for our church family to serve together. We encourage members of all ages to get involved, as there are meaningful ways for everyone to participate. For many families, serving side by side at CCD has become a cherished holiday tradition.
Volunteer opportunities during the boxing events require only a short commitment of about 1.5 hours, making it easy for individuals and families to lend a hand.
Community Care Day will take place on December 12th from 9:00 a.m. to noon, or until all supplies have been distributed. We hope you'll join us as we come together to serve our community and share Christ's love in a practical and meaningful way.

Community Care Day is made possible through God's blessings and the generous hearts of our members here at Bentonville Church of Christ. Please prayerfully consider supporting our ministry and helping us raise $50,000 in the month of July to help us show the love of Christ to those in the most need this upcoming holiday season by:

Thanks to your generosity, we raised $56,305, hitting 113% of our funding goal and allowing us to be financially ready to be the hands and feet of Jesus this Christmas season.

Important Event Dates:
November 15, 2026:
- Volunteer registration opens for boxing events and serving during CCD.
- Launch day for Christmas bags and blankets. Please fill your bag with requested items and return to the South Foyer by December 6th.
- 1,050 invitations will be sent to 36 schools, 5 non-profit agencies in 3 surrounding counties
December 2, 2026: Activity Center gym is transformed to CCD Central!
- 15 pallets of food
- 230 cases of household products
- 0ver 1,000 coats
- 45 bundles of boxes are prepared for families
December 2, 2026: Boxing Night #1 for BYG family and friends at 6:30 PM in the Activity Center
December 6, 2026: Boxing Night #2 for all church family and friends at 5:00 PM in the Activity Center
December 12, 2026: COMMUNITY CARE DAY EVENT FROM 8-NOON! Volunteers, please arrive at 7:30 a.m. Dress appropriately for weather.
